The Secular Yeshivas (Yeshivot Hiloniot) serve as local hubs of Jewish learning, social action and community-building across Israel and the world. Through the Secular Yeshivas, we work to cultivate new forms of Jewish learning and expression that bring together individuals of all backgrounds, and catalyze constructive processes of change locally and globally.

The Israeli Secular Yeshivas serve as home-bases for BINA’s young adult service learning programs – for , adult learning and professional development, community organizing and volunteer projects, and public events and activities – seeking to change the landscape of Jewish learning and expression in Israel. At the same time, our global BINA Houses (“Batei BINA”) (currently in Dharamkot India and Cusco Peru) act as a “home away from home” for Israeli and Jewish travelers, providing opportunities to learn, volunteer and celebrate together, while contributing to the local community.

The new Palo Alto Secular Yeshiva serves as a new model for Jewish learning, celebration and volunteerism for North America, in partnership with the Oshman Family JCC.
