Between Darkness and Light | An Interactive Workshop for Hanukkah

BINA is pleased to offer this special Hanukkah workshop which can be adapted and used for groups of all ages and backgrounds. The holiday of Hanukkah is associated with a number of key Jewish and universal concepts – heroism, courage, miracles, darkness and light.

Explore the holiday of Hanukkah through the concepts of darkness and light, in both the physical and spiritual sense, ad on personal, communal, national and universal levels. Though Hanukkah is often a holiday where we consider our uniqueness as Jews and our difference or separation from other peoples, through this workshop we will explore how we can celebrate our unique Jewishness while embracing Jewish connections to other cultures and universal and humanistic values.

The workshop includes: guiding questions, games and other suggested activities and more!
